Newark Curling Club

Newark Curling Club is looking forward to another enjoyable and competitive season at the Waterfront Leisure Complex in Greenock.

Established around 1998, Newark is one of Inverclyde’s relatively newer curling clubs and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2023. Since its formation, the club has developed a strong sense of friendship and community while competing successfully at local, regional and national levels.

Among its notable achievements is representation in the Henderson Bishop Competition, one of Scotland’s most prestigious ladies’ curling competitions. The club has also enjoyed success in regional events, reflecting the enthusiasm and commitment of its members.

Curling at Newark is about more than competition. The club prides itself on welcoming players, encouraging participation and enjoying the friendship and social side of the sport.

As the new season approaches, members are looking forward to returning to the ice, renewing friendships and continuing to represent Inverclyde curling with enthusiasm and pride.
