A BIG INVERCLYDE WELCOME FOR THE USA LADIES!

Thursday 12 November 2026 — Waterfront Ice Rink, Greenock

The flags will be flying and the pipes playing when the USA Ladies Curling Tour arrives in Greenock — and our Waterfront ladies are pulling out all the stops!

The local ladies curling clubs have joined forces to arrange a day packed with sightseeing, curling, entertainment and Scottish hospitality. Their aim is simple: to give their American guests an Inverclyde welcome to remember.

Twenty American curlers, led by Tour Captain Kathy Pielage, will visit as part of their three-week Scottish adventure. Greenock is their penultimate stop before Hamilton and their journey home on 15 November.

8.00pm — Farewell, and on to Hamilton
The visitors board their coach for the final stop of their Scottish tour.

A TEAM EFFORT WORTH CELEBRATING

Behind this packed programme is the hard work and enthusiasm of the Waterfront Ladies Branch and our participating local clubs. They are coming together to celebrate everything that makes curling special: teamwork, friendly competition and a welcome that extends well beyond the ice.

Let’s hear it for our Waterfront ladies — ready to make Greenock a highlight of the American tour!
