Greenock and Gourock Ladies enjoy a joint start to the curling season

Greenock Ladies and Gourock Ladies Curling Clubs came together on Tuesday 29 September for their combined opening bonspiel—a lovely way to begin the new season with curling, friendship and a social get-together.

Congratulations to Elinor, Rosie, Isobel and Mhairi, whose winning rink brought together players from both clubs.

After the curling, the ladies continued their day out with lunch at Café Mor, enjoying the opportunity to catch up and spend some time together away from the ice.

The photograph captures the two clubs together at the start of another season. Joint occasions like this are a reminder of the friendships that curling creates, both within clubs and between them.

Well done to the winning rink, and best wishes to Greenock Ladies and Gourock Ladies for an enjoyable season ahead!
